Village Administrator Mike Rosenberry told council that park restrooms will be locked prior to dusk because of vandalism and that cameras at the park will feed video to the police department. Rosenberry also noted a tipped-over portable toilet and plans to install additional concrete pads in spring for picnic tables.
Park Chair Wes Hostetler said Street Superintendent Matt Miller recommended purchasing six more trash containers for the park. A motion by Kathy Burrier, seconded by Wes Hostetler, to approve the purchase was recorded in the minutes; the meeting record does not list the roll-call outcome for that motion. Council also briefly discussed providing a hitching area for horse and buggies at the park.
