The Bristow City Council approved a set of procurement and service actions on Aug. 5, including a 60-month lease-purchase with Warren Cat for a Caterpillar Model 302.7 CR excavator at $798.09 per month with an optional buyout of $12,720 and a total financed amount shown as approximately $50,720. Council also approved Friesen Trailers estimates to replace axles, tires and wheels for the Street Department trailer ($5,307.40) and purchase ramps ($1,537.68).
On service contracts, the council approved a three-year Customer Service Agreement with Unifirst for Public Works uniforms (structured as one-year renewals with two option years) and hired Keep Whit It Cleaning, Inc. to provide library cleaning services at $175.00 biweekly. The cleaning-services vote recorded one No vote by Councilmember Joe Church; the other measures passed by roll call as recorded in the minutes.
