During routine business on April 16, the Spofford Fire & Rescue Precinct Commissioners recorded a $120 increase in annual generator maintenance that is due in April/May and noted ongoing work to authorize brush clearing by the road and to pursue a possible Spofford Fire roadside sign.
Selectman's Representative Fran Shippee reported she called L & G Propane and confirmed the correct billing rate should be $1.499 per gallon; she said customer service will correct the invoices. Commissioner John Forester said he is working on authorization for brush clearing and a possible sign and will consult the Code Enforcement Officer as needed. Clerk Jay Gaudry announced the next meeting will be Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6 p.m. and asked commissioners to decide whether to meet monthly through the summer.
The meeting closed with a motion by Evan James Deutsch to adjourn at 6:43 p.m., seconded by Rob Hodgkins; all were in favor and the motion carried unanimously.
