Commissioners note insurance increase, receive Eversource rebate and hear of pending repairs

During bills and correspondence, Chief Brendan Kiniry told commissioners the districts liability, auto and workers' compensation insurance costs rose by $1,300. The district also received a $1,000 rebate from Eversource for heat pumps, a rebate noted in the June 18 packet.
Kiniry said some vendor invoices, such as those from Strategic Safety Dynamics, had not been paid on time. He also alerted the board that Twin State will issue a bill to repair Rescue 1, which requires a new compressor; the commissioners did not record a specific dollar amount for that repair at the June 18 meeting.
