At its July 20 meeting the Board approved the student, staff and activity handbooks for the 2026–27 school year and confirmed substitute pay rates remain at $175 per day and $190 per day after ten consecutive days. The handbook approval was moved by Jim Korth and seconded by Tim Ryan; the substitute pay motion was likewise moved by Jim Korth and seconded by Tim Ryan.
The board also approved use of NEE (Network for Effective Educators) as the Teacher/Principal Evaluation Tool for 2026–27 after a motion by Amanda Christensen and second by Tim Ryan. Board members adopted recommendations for staff trainings in a separate motion. All motions carried with five aye votes and Mary Wilson absent.
