Commissioner says county will coordinate with senator and ambulance director after Penn Highlands transport decision; EMS consultant to be selected

Commissioner (Speaker 2) also said Senator Fetterman's office reached out about Penn Highlands' decision regarding inner‑facility patient transport and that commissioners intend to coordinate a meeting with Fetterman's office, commissioners and the county ambulance director to discuss effects on local providers and residents.
No firm selection was announced at the meeting and no formal action was taken beyond staff updates and planned coordination with state and local stakeholders.
