The Chair brought forward a motion to release a request for proposals for county cleaning services because the current contract is expiring. Staff drafted the RFP language and the Chair said the procurement will be publicized in local newspapers.
"Our current contract is up with our current cleaning agency," the Chair said as they described the plan to publicize the RFP. The Chair said, if approved, the issue date would be today and proposals would be due Feb. 19, with the last February meeting scheduled for discussion of submissions.
Commissioner (Speaker 2) seconded the motion and the board approved releasing the RFP. The Chair credited staff (Jack, Misty and Annette) with preparing appropriate language for the solicitation and said proposals will be reviewed at the February meeting.
