Commissioner James framed the decision as a cost-effective upgrade, saying the chosen proposal offered the most features for the money and would be “more future proof” for county needs. Commissioners noted the site will add subscription and RSS-style email notifications so residents can receive automatic alerts when agendas and videos are posted.
