Britney Garnet, the Colorado Department of Human Services county intermediary present at the meeting, recognized "Miranda" for outstanding child-welfare casework during 2025 and presented a certificate and small tokens from the state. "Miranda is an amazing human being," Britney said, explaining that Miranda was nominated for consistently going "above and beyond the call of duty" and for helping families and peers across county lines.
Presenters and board members took photos and thanked Miranda for her work; Britney described Miranda's casework as creative and supportive of families and colleagues. The board offered public appreciation and allowed a brief photo presentation before moving back to workshop items.
