Chair Ian Albinson presented the second reading of the revised Conflict of Interest Policy (SB-2026-01), explaining the updated draft includes redline edits from the prior meeting and that Fire Chief Brett LaRose had provided feedback on language affecting the fire department. Albinson asked for any comments; none were raised, and he suggested gathering remaining comments internally before submitting the draft to legal for a final check.
Albinson noted the policy follows a three-meeting adoption schedule, which "means the Board can take additional time if needed," and confirmed the updated document is posted on the Town website for public review. The policy will return for presentation at the next meeting after legal review and any further edits.
