Board hears operations updates on Paleo Park bench, mowing changes and erosion monitoring

Chair Kathleen Lonergan asked whether an additional bench had been installed at Paleo Park; Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz said he would ask Gary and follow up. Mr. Gatz confirmed that mowing of different retention areas had been adjusted and that it will take time to evaluate whether the changes are sufficient.
The board also heard an update on a homeowner’s construction project that may be encroaching on a retention area (EDRA). Mr. Gatz said he confirmed the homeowner obtained proper permits and approvals; the district will wait until construction is complete to determine if any erosion issues arise.
