Colchester board adopts student cell phone policy after third reading

The Colchester School District Board of Education adopted Board Policy F2 (Cell Phone and Personal Electronic Devices) following a third and final reading at the June 16 meeting. Superintendent Amy Minor presented the policy and said there were no changes since the second reading.
Minor added that each school building will develop procedures to implement the policy consistent with students’ developmental stages and building systems. Director Ben Yousey-Hindes moved to approve the third and final reading; the motion passed unanimously.
