Mayor Sherice McAnerin asked the council to remove Edward Estrada from the town’s money market and business checking accounts at Wheatland Bank and to add interim Clerk‑Treasurer Jade MacArthur. Sam McGeorge moved to remove Estrada and add MacArthur, Fran Maxwell seconded the motion, and the minutes record the motion passed with no opposition.
The council also considered two ordinances. Tess Parker moved to repeal Ordinance No. 358 and Mark Lockwood seconded; the repeal passed unanimously. The council then presented Ordinance No. 359 for adoption; Tess Parker motioned to adopt and Blake McAnerin seconded, with the minutes recording it passed with no opposition.
