Several public requests and community items were raised during the meeting.
Dan Johnson asked either to purchase a town parcel adjacent to his property (parcel 433921510186) south of his lot (433921510185) or for council guidance to protect his underground sewer lines from town maintenance procedures so he can maintain them. Sam McGeorge, speaking on behalf of John Kinney and himself, requested permission to install a plaque at no expense to the town near the new Toldya-K Japanese Garden/Park honoring the Kubota family and donor Rodger Aydelotte. Don Gilbert of Pawsitive Outreach asked if the American Legion could host a spay-and-neuter clinic sometime in April.
The council heard these requests and did not record formal action or votes in the minutes on them during this meeting; staff and council members were left to follow up with the requesters.
