Bill Bisson, representing the Metaline Falls Bigfoot Festival committee, presented an aerial map showing vendor spots, a 5K race route and a car show for a June 2026 festival. He said the organizers have formed a nonprofit with the State of Washington and requested use of the softball field for overflow parking and permission to offer dry camping and longer vendor hours.
Bisson asked the council for logistical support, including use of "the town garbage cans and traffic cones to shut the streets down," and said the committee will return next month with details on insurance and any requirements for the town. The council did not vote on permits or fees at the March 10 meeting.
