On the consent agenda the Council approved the March 12, 2026 meeting minutes, received the Town Clerk's April 9, 2026 report, and accepted the March 2026 Financial Report; the action was recorded as "passed unanimously on a 4-0 vote," with Council Member Alexandra Powell-Sardinas absent. Later in the meeting Council Member Kathleen Hoock moved and Vice Mayor Marion Chateau-Flagg seconded approval of a quote from Maki Construction to straighten and paint four concrete street markers at a cost of $400; that motion passed on a 3-0 vote with Council Members Powell-Sardinas and John Tyson absent at the vote.
At the end of the meeting Council Member Hoock moved and Vice Mayor Chateau-Flagg seconded to adjourn at 8:08 p.m.; the motion carried on a 3-0 vote with Powell-Sardinas and Tyson absent. Council also discussed scheduling for July and agreed not to hold the regular July meeting date (July 9) because of member absences and professional conflicts, leaving July 16 as a potential alternate if a meeting is required.
