Representing Chief Martinez, Chief Harden told the council Feb. 12 that Palm Beach County Fire Rescue had no incidents to report and offered to set up free CPR classes for Cloud Lake residents in February in recognition of Heart Awareness Month.
"Because February is Heart Awareness Month PBCFR offering to set up CPR classes for the residents at no charge," the clerk reported. Chief Harden also noted PBCFR would present a video next month showing their operations. The council expressed interest in re-running a prior class; the clerk said the town had offered a similar class a few years ago and would be interested in scheduling another.
No dates were finalized at the meeting; staff said they would coordinate with PBCFR and report back at a future meeting.
