Town Hall renovation near completion; sink placement and bathroom approvals remain

Councilmembers said Feb. 12 that the Town Hall interior renovation is primarily complete, with only bathroom approval and a kitchenette installation outstanding.
Vice Mayor Marion Chateau-Flagg and Councilmember Kathleen Hoock said the consensus among those present was that the sink should be placed on the same wall as the ovens so the designed countertop will fit. Vice Mayor Chateau-Flagg also said the mayor had told her it "was less expensive to put the sink on the outside wall." No final change order or approval was recorded at the meeting; staff is awaiting final bathroom inspection and appliance installation.
The council also reviewed other unfinished business regarding Preserve drainage and encampment removal, but did not take additional formal action on the renovation during this meeting.
