Deputy Sheriff Jason Ekstrom told the Council Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office recorded three crimes in the reporting period: "2 vehicle burglaries (1 Shannondale and 1 Wilson) and 1 fraud or identity theft," and he said a homeless encampment previously in town had been removed. The briefing gave the Council a concise summary of recent law-enforcement activity and local public-safety follow-ups.
Battalion Chief Martinez of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue reported one fire call and one medical call for the period and presented a six-minute video titled "Inside Palm Beach County Fire Rescue" that outlines county services. Martinez also reported that "PBC is now out of the drought," a point with implications for local fire-risk planning and resource coordination with countywide services.
