The Cloud Lake Town Council meeting on Feb. 12 lacked a quorum, and the council deferred approval of the consent agenda to its next regular meeting on March 12.
The clerk recorded attendance showing Vice Mayor Marion Chateau-Flagg and Councilmember Kathleen Hoock present and other members absent; the meeting record states plainly, "There was no quorum." Because a quorum was not present, the council could not take the formal vote to approve the consent items and the clerk noted the consent agenda would be tabled until March 12.
The absence of a quorum also affected other items: some administrative and ordinance-review items were postponed for consideration at the March meeting.
