The approval covers payment for work tied to the 2022 overlay contract and associated dozing by OS&G Dozing Cherry & Kosmos. Council members did not discuss alternate contractors or delay the start date during the update. The council’s action moves the overlay work forward to the next operational stage; staff indicated field work for the Otta-seal will follow the contractor schedule once mobilization is complete.
