Drew described an AI data-center prospect as "a smaller 10 to 20 megawatt" facility that would primarily need power rather than large water supplies or generate substantial emissions. "They don't have a huge water need... they don't have the emissions," he said, describing the site's utility profile.
On costs, Drew said some prospects were looking "anywhere from higher to $200,000,000 for capital expenditure upfront," and he explained the model includes recurring replacement cycles: roughly a 3x CapEx refresh every 7–10 years that can drive hundreds of millions over a longer horizon. He stressed that community preference and utility capacity will be key to whether such a facility is pursued.
