Mossyrock approves amendment to 2021 wastewater loan to extend scope and add funds

At its May 21 meeting the Mossyrock City Council adopted Resolution 2025-05 to amend an expired 2021 loan/grant agreement (NO.WQC-2021-CiMoss-0071) with the Department of Ecology. The minutes state that the 2021 loan expired on Dec. 31, 2024 and that the amendment will add scope of work and additional funding for administration, design and project scope for the Wastewater Treatment Plant project. The motion was moved by Juliana Simon and seconded by Teresa Quinlan.
The change reopens an earlier funding line to allow completion of the original project scope and to cover administrative and design needs that were not finished before the loan expiration. The minutes do not record a roll-call tally or a timeline for the amended work; the action indicates the city will continue the wastewater project with additional Ecology oversight and funding.
