The county attorney (S5) informed the board that staff prepared a resolution to begin a revocation proceeding for a helipad special use permit issued in September 2022 for a property associated with Rocky Morris.
The county attorney explained the special‑use approval included conditions and that the resolution would authorize the board to sign and call a public hearing to consider revocation if a condition was violated. "As a part of that approval of the helipad special use permit, there was a condition that provided that upon a violation of any condition of approval, then there could be a consideration...to bring it back for potential revocation following...the zoning procedures law," the attorney said. He clarified that the revocation proceeding would focus on the helipad permit only and would not affect a separate special‑event permit associated with the property.
No formal action was recorded during the work session; staff said they would follow notice and public‑hearing requirements under the zoning procedures law before the board takes any revocation action.
