Technology staff reported a workable fix for the gym HUDL camera after testing a new suspension point that provided a wider angle.
Eric Freund said he and maintenance staff suspended the camera from the other side of the gym to create more space and improve the viewing angle, concluding "it seemed to be working much better, due to the increased space which allowed for a better angle." Chair Jolene Marchand asked whether Eric could enable Zoom into executive session if needed; Eric replied he could. Boardmember Anna asked for additional training for coaches on the traveling camera; Eric agreed to provide more training.
The board agreed the proposed camera solution should resolve HUDL issues; no additional funding motions were recorded for equipment changes.
