At the Nov. 12 North Bonneville City Council meeting, councilmembers discussed whether to raise the mayor's salary and asked the clerk to calculate an amount that would be consistent with the city budget. Councilmember Travis Randall requested the discussion and council asked the clerk to determine what kind of increase would be in alignment with the 2025 budget; no motion or vote followed.
Councilmembers recessed briefly for an executive session earlier in the meeting on RCW-related pending litigation and real estate matters; afterward the salary topic returned to the floor for discussion. The council did not adopt any change at the meeting and left next steps to the clerk, who was asked to report back with figures for a future agenda.
