At its July 23 meeting the Berlin Planning & Zoning Commission took the following formal actions:
- Approved the special permit and site plan for Stanley Pager for a farm stand at 407 Lower Lane, incorporating staff conditions (signage to be approved by staff; limits on permitted products; compliance with other agency permits as needed).
- Approved the special permit for Miskill Enterprises LLC for a virtual golf simulator at 384–400 Deming Road with staff conditions on parking and operations.
- Continued the public hearing for the site-plan application to allow conditional local approvals so the applicant may pursue Connecticut's beneficially reclaimed fill pilot with the state; the hearing will resume on Aug. 6 to allow supplemental traffic routing, DEP material-acceptance clarifications, and additional town-agency comments.
All votes were recorded by voice vote; staff will publish the formal minutes and permit language.
