The panel voted to approve new exterior graphics for the city bookmobile, clearing staff to send the selected artwork to the vendor.
Presenter said, "We had 49 applications for the bookmobile graphics, and the top design was by Dana Camberg, and this is what she created for us." After the display of mockups showing the driver side, passenger side, rear and over-cab artwork, the Chair called for a motion to approve the graphics so the project could move forward. A motion was made, Pamela was identified as the seconder and members verbally indicated their support; the Chair declared the motion passed.
The presenter noted the on-vehicle mockup showed an orange cab but the actual cab will be white and that staff will request the vendor add identifying text to the sides before production. She said staff would send the approved files to Farber, the company handling the vehicle build, and that the vendor deadline was the following day.
The action formally authorizes staff to proceed with final production of the approved artwork; no costs, contract awards or ordinance changes were discussed during the item. The meeting moved on after brief logistical comments and thanks from staff.
