Commissioners hear funding plan for Reddington EMS station as county and interlocal payments cover most costs

Clint (speaker 10) said Pinellas County will provide roughly $800,000 for medical services and that interlocal agreement contributions of about $310,000 bring the total to roughly $1.1–1.2M, which is sufficient to fund the proposed hires.
"To fund the Reddington station, we get approximately 800,000 from the county for providing the medical services...and then in our interlocal agreements...roughly 310,000," Clint said, describing the funding mix and noting the station is being named the Redington EMS station to reflect county medical-service support. Commissioners asked where the Reddington costs appear in the account listings and staff said the department was newly created and will be placed after the fire/EMS section in the full budget book.
