Mrs. Adams presented the unaudited financial statements as of Dec. 31, 2024. Accounting recoded several expense items, moving some Engineering overages to the Special Revenue Fund and transferring $4,343 from Contingencies to Landscape (General Fund) for landscape expenses outside the gates. The Board accepted the unaudited statements as presented.
Assistant Secretary Kurt Blumenthal pointed to unassigned working capital carried over from FY2024 and said the CDD appears on sound financial footing. Mr. Long said staff is preparing a 10-year forecast that will include the Lake 8 stormwater management project, asphalt and gutter repairs, and the replacement of 31-year-old irrigation pipes; those forecast items will appear on a future agenda for review and scheduling.
