River Ridge CDD adopts FY2025 budget after scrivener corrections

The River Ridge Community Development District adopted its fiscal year 2024–2025 budget on Aug. 27, 2024, after staff corrected scrivener errors; no members of the public spoke during the required hearing.
Cleo Adams, District Manager, opened the public hearing on the District's proposed Fiscal Year 2024/2025 budget and noted that the version on the agenda contained errors that were corrected before adoption.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the Board that additional changes were made to correct scrivener errors, including an updated description for "Street sweeping." No affected property owners spoke during the hearing and Mrs. Adams reported no emailed comments were received. On motion by Assistant Secretary Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Twombly, the Board unanimously adopted Resolution 2024-07, adopting the budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2024 and ending Sept. 30, 2025, as amended.
The adoption included Board authorization for routine budget amendments and placement of the revised budget in the District record. The Board did not identify any new revenue sources or changes to assessment rates during the hearing; specific line-item adjustments were limited to correcting descriptions and scrivener errors. The District will post required budget documents per statutory obligations and proceed with implementation on the fiscal-year start date.
