At its July 23 meeting the Planning & Zoning Commission recorded the following formal actions: seating Marc Rosen for Vice Chair Stephen Koshland (motion by Kinsella, second Macchi; unanimous); approval of minutes from the May 28 regular meeting and June 25 special meeting (motions by Doug Cohn); closure of the ADU public hearing (motion by Eileen Kinsella); adoption of the ADU text amendment (motion by Matthew Macchi; second Marc Rosen; roll-call in favor); acceptance of the Aspen Hill Road re-subdivision application and scheduling of its public hearing for Aug. 27 (motion by Doug Cohn; second Kathy Clark); and a motion to release written responses to Richard Hamilton’s Village Business Zone inquiries (motion by Matthew Macchi; second Doug Cohn).
The minutes also list multiple follow-up actions assigned to staff and commission subcommittees: ZEO Janell Mullen to contact Eversource about permitting implications at Warren Turnpike; a commission subcommittee to draft a letter to the Board of Selectmen concerning the Old Firehouse easement; the POCD implementation subcommittee to prepare a letter to the Selectmen about stalled items; and staff to prepare written responses and outreach materials on the Village Business Zone. The meeting adjourned at 8:46 PM.
