Commissioners press for limits on contractor parking and access to DeFazio Park

A project representative noted Bond Construction has met with the community several times and that weekly coordination meetings with the design team will include neighborhood and traffic considerations. King told the commission she would share logistics plans and incorporate language addressing restricted access to nearby facilities into the MOA edits.
Commissioners requested regular check‑ins and suggested at least quarterly updates so that Park and Rec can plan around milestone changes and inform youth leagues and users about parking and access arrangements during construction.
