Commissioners discussed the city's open commission seat and directed the auditor to advertise and solicit letters of interest from residents who would like to be considered for appointment. The commission took no appointment action at the May 4 meeting; the call for interest opens the candidate pool.
Auditor Michele Kuntz reported that Norma Weisz requested temporary unpaid leave from her cleaning duties at City Hall. Commissioner Wanek moved to approve the unpaid temporary leave; Selle seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Commissioners also discussed hiring temporary summer help and asked the auditor to advertise the position.
