Halliday library seeks permission to apply for state grant, schedules park story times

Katlyn Baker reported to the commission that the library plans story time events in the park on July 1 and July 30 and requested permission to apply to North Dakota Health and Human Services for a community outdoor garden grant. Commissioner Wanek moved to grant permission to apply for the grant and to use space between the two wings on the south side of the school for the project; the motion passed unanimously.
Baker also asked about installing a 'handy cape button' by the library entrance doors; the commission heard the request but took no formal vote on that installation during the meeting.
