The Ferguson-Florissant R-II Board of Education opened its meeting and, citing the public meetings law of the state of Missouri, moved to adopt the agenda that had been posted in advance.
"Under provisions of the public meetings law of the state of Missouri, the board must adopt by roll call vote an agenda that includes the time, date, place, and tentative agenda for the meeting," the presiding officer said. The board also noted that "A copy of the notice of the agenda of this meeting was posted on Tuesday, 07/21/2026 at the Administrative Center, 8855 Dunn Road, Hazelmo, Missouri online and sent to local newspapers."
A motion to adopt the agenda "as posted" was made and seconded, and the presiding officer called for a roll-call vote. Multiple members answered in the affirmative and the agenda was approved by roll call. The meeting then moved to the consent agenda, which the presiding officer said had been reviewed by a subcommittee and circulated in advance to board members and the public.
