Ron Lindgren spoke during public comment about Container Ordinance No. 482 and said he and his wife, who moved to Mossyrock recently, had placed a Conex container without knowing about the 60-day limit or the need for a temporary permit. Lindgren presented photos of suggested "remodel or brightening up" work to make the container resemble a shed and left the images with Mayor Randall Sasser for review by the Planning Committee.
Council members discussed whether a variance would be required for the Conex. The submission will be taken to the Planning Committee for review; no formal variance or permit decision was made during the meeting.
