The Yuma County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to adopt Resolution No. 2026-26 on June 23, approving adjustments to employee compensation and program funding across county districts. The motion (Lines/Reyes) passed by roll call vote 5-0.
County Administrator Ian McGaughey and staff framed the action as part of the overall budget process, saying the county maintained conservative revenue assumptions and a reserve above the internal 20% policy. Mr. McGaughey told the Board that reserves above the 20% policy level remain available for use if the Board later deems it appropriate. The resolution accompanies the FY 2026/27 budget adopted earlier at the same meeting.
