Crystal Burrow, Parks and Recreation coordinator, told council the department has launched an aquatics program that includes swim classes, adult aerobics and aquatic line-dancing led by certified aquatics director Jasmine Saunders. "All of these programs we're introducing will be free for the remaining of the season, which is up till September 7," Burrow said, and she encouraged residents to check the city's social media and website for schedules.
Burrow also announced a free Walk/Run/Connect club at the new Crozer Park trail in partnership with Diane Price (Wellness is a Vibe). Council praised the department’s outreach and programming and encouraged residents to attend; officials said pool hours for memberships will remain 12 to 6 PM but the instructional and exercise sessions will be offered outside those membership hours.
