Library adds health and cooking loanables, fixes Kimball Junction locker screen

The Summit County Library added several items to its Library of Things collection and reported a repair at the Kimball Junction locker.
Director Dan told the board that blood-pressure monitoring kits and induction cooktops have been cataloged and that policies for borrowing are posted on the library website. "We've had one of our induction cooktops borrowed," he said, encouraging patrons to try the equipment and attend related classes.
Dan also said a screen on a Kimball Junction locker was replaced and a magnetic sunshade was added to protect it from sun damage; he recommended contacting the company that did a previous wrap (Prescott Custom Wraps) for a small cosmetic repair to match the branch's blue paneling. He said staff will request a quote and seek support from the Friends if the cost is not in the supplies budget.
