Pedro Herrera described a 22‑year practice focused on Florida public pensions and said his move to Jones Walker creates access to a larger national firm's staffing and back‑office support. Herrera said Jones Walker's scale would let him and his team provide more timely service and additional educational offerings for trustees. On fees, Herrera told the board that he would match the discount being offered by Sugarman & Susskind: "I said I would match it."
