He emphasized cleanup and removal of a homeless encampment on the lot.
“That's our plan… to clean it up and make it look good again,” Schrader told the commission, adding he has coordinated with planning staff to place a dumpster and remove debris prior to reopening. No members of the public testified in opposition during the hearing. The commission voted unanimously to approve the special exception; staff noted the special exception will expire if unused for six months or not acted upon within one year.
