Chair Carlton Dallas told the board he wants a results committee meeting after graduation to finalize an evaluation matrix tied to the district strategic plan and to set interim goals for the following year.
"I said to Dr. Carr, we need to have a results committee meeting...we're gonna have to get that...after graduation," Dallas said, noting the matrix will inform next year's targets and metrics. He also said an item described as fiscal responsibility will be moved from the superintendent's report into board business action so the board can address certification as part of the budget discussion.
The board did not take a formal vote on strategic-plan changes at the May 6 meeting; Dallas asked staff to schedule the committee meeting and prepare the matrix for board consideration.
