"It's going to be at, Hilton Head Island Middle School," Chair Carlton Dallas said as members confirmed the time and location. Board members discussed executive-session topics that will include CMR items for Buffington High School CTE building, issues related to the Riverview gym and legal advice on contract negotiations. A board member also raised a memorandum of understanding with the Town of Bluffton regarding a property in southern Beaufort for inclusion on the agenda.
Board members instructed staff to schedule those items and to provide necessary backup materials for May 20; no final decisions on contracts or facilities were made at the May 6 session, and the board reserved substantive discussion for the later meeting and executive session.
