The Beaufort County Board of Education approved its meeting agenda and the minutes of the April 29, 2025 committee meeting during an agenda-setting session on May 6.
"The agenda is approved," Chair Carlton Dallas said after a motion, followed by a voice vote of 'aye' and the chair's declaration that the motion carried. Later the board moved and seconded approval of the April 29 committee minutes; members again voted in favor and the motion carried.
The board opened the remote/in-person session by announcing the meeting would be broadcast on the county channel and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. No substantive debate on the procedural items was recorded. The meeting adjourned by unanimous consent at the close of business.
