Council reviewed the city’s permit language that states a building permit becomes null and void after 180 days if a project is not completed. Attorney Tom Barnes II proposed placing a calendar reminder and sending a 30‑day notice to permit holders requiring them to appear before council to request an extension; Tom said he will draft the letter. Matt Williams said he would request an extension from Mammoth for a specific permit.
On utilities, staff reported that Linda Essman has brought her account current, while Sherry Atchison and Kandice Stilley are delinquent; letters to both Atchison and Stilley were mailed Oct. 9, 2025. For permits older than 180 days, the City will notify property owners to either request extensions or appear before council.
