The Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Old Westbury voted to approve Jordan and Paula Bergstein’s application for a one-story kitchen and family room addition at 4 Bostwick Lane.
The application requested three variances: total building volume (allowable 78,032 cubic feet; proposed 85,513 cubic feet; variance requested 7,481 cubic feet), lot coverage (maximum 25 percent; proposed 25.17 percent; variance requested 0.17 percent) and side-yard setback (required 50 feet; proposed 46 feet 11¾ inches; variance requested approximately 3 feet ¼ inch). On motion by Member Pasquale Zito, seconded by Member Jennifer Vartanov, the board approved the application and recorded that written approval will follow.
Board members did not record additional conditions in the minutes; the approval was entered as carried. The decision was made during the June 8, 2026 regular meeting, which began at 7:00 PM at Village Hall.
