City Attorney Anna Krstulic said she has reassigned staff to follow up with HUD but noted property liens may exceed market value, which could limit options for sale or redevelopment.
Council discussed potential demolition pathways, which would require a resolution, public hearing, and notification of owners and lienholders; staff emphasized the state nuisance process and timelines. No new formal action was taken beyond continued monitoring and staff follow-up.
