At its Feb. 23 meeting the Meade City Council approved new vendor-permit fees for food truck operators: $100 per calendar month or $50 per day with proof of insurance, proof of a Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) inspection, and a valid corporate Tax ID or Social Security number. The motion was made by Council member Brian Kroth and seconded by Lance DeLissa and carried with all in favor.
City Clerk Christina Redger was directed to update the vendor-permit application to reflect the new fees and documentation requirements. The change applies to vendors operating within the City of Meade and will be implemented through the permit form updates; the council did not identify an effective date beyond the administrative update.
