Council approves vacation of a public utility easement at 3785 S. Ash Circle

Millcreek planning staff presented a request and unanimous Planning Commission recommendation to vacate a five-foot public utility easement separating two parcels at approximately 3785 South Ash Circle. Planner Brad Sanderson told the Council the owner, Jared Hackett, had acquired an adjacent parcel and sought to combine the lots for a planned home addition; utility providers submitted written consent or no-objection letters and a new ten-foot public utility easement would remain along Ash Circle.
Council Member Thom DeSirant moved to approve Ordinance 26-25. Council Member Bev Uipi seconded; the Recorder called the vote and the ordinance passed unanimously. There were no public comments during the hearing.
